“My all time favorite!! #1 for me 🙌🏾🫶🏾they glow in the dark for deeper water first time owning a glow jig. Caught over 20 fish in a couple hours.”

From heel hooks to fish hooks

Built in a garage, not a boardroom, by a black belt who got tired of gear that didn't earn the win.

During the 2020 lockdowns, I was grinding the bays of San Diego, tying on slow pitch jigs that looked the part but couldn’t deliver. Paint flaked, hooks bent, and the fish didn’t care.

As a lifelong angler and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, I know success comes from reps, precision, and gear you can trust. So I built my own, in a garage, not a boardroom. Every jig we make is tested by me and our crew.

    Built for the hunt.

When the bite’s down in the wrecks, kelp beds, or ledges, these are the jigs that turn frustration into fish stories. 40g–300g Mercenaries, Sumos, Ogres, and Javelins are built for anglers who fish smart, not lucky — tuned to trigger reaction strikes whether you’re dropping into saltwater structure or probing freshwater drop-offs.

Mercenaries: 40g & 60g — compact and aggressive, they can be fished vertically or cast and retrieved.

Sumos: 40g & 60g — sleek with a fat belly, they can be rigged on either side for different presentations.

Ogres: 80g, 200g, 300g — knife-style powerhouses and our longest swimming jig, perfect for wreck fishing and deep structure.

Javelins: 100g & 200g — sleek gliders that flutter erratically with every pitch, tempting wary fish into taking the shot.

With such a wide range of weights and shapes, this lineup was built to go hunting, not "bait and wait."

How a slow pitch jig gets bit

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“Hands down my favorite to target rockfish and sandies. Any structure fishing, this lure is great to get to the bottom…” - Mark G.

How is it different from live bait?

Live bait dies, drifts and needs rebaiting. A Submission jig is center-weighted and asymmetrical, so it flutters and slides on the fall like an injured baitfish, drop after drop. Every jig is through-wired and tested by us in real water.

    Fresh + Salt versatility.

    Lifelike action + tough construction.

Built for Structure, Wrecks & Kelp Beds — Made to Make Big Fish Commit

This isn’t flimsy tackle or “pretty” lures that chip on the first drop. This is the engine room of the Submission Fishing Co. lineup: precision middleweight slow pitch jigs designed for anglers who chase yellowtail, yellowfin tuna, rockfish, sea bass, dorado, bonito, amberjack, snapper, striper and salmon — wherever they hold tight in current, wrecks, or kelp.

Why Submission? Because we got tired of “off-the-shelf” jigs that fluttered halfway down, bent in current, or just didn’t get bit. Out of that frustration, we built our own — center-weighted, asymmetrical, UV-reactive, and tough enough to survive trip after trip. Every jig we sell is tested in real water, not dreamed up in a boardroom.

Every jig in this lineup is:

✔️ Center-weighted for consistent slow pitch control

✔️ Through-wired and built to fight big fish without failing

    ✔️ Hook-ready with premium assist rigs *40g - 80g come already rigged*

✔️ Used in both freshwater and saltwater

If you fish wrecks, kelp beds, or river mouths — if you’re serious about converting “no bites” into nonstop action — we made these for you. Middle weight. Built by fishermen, for fishermen who refuse to wait on luck.

    What is Slow Pitch Jigging?

Slow pitch jigging is an active fishing style where angler and jig work the water column together, creating lifelike flutter that mimics a dying baitfish. The result? Strikes from predators that are sluggish, stuffed, or picky.

    FAQs

Middleweight jigs (40g–300g) cover nearshore structure out to offshore water. A good starting rule is about one foot of depth per gram, with more weight in heavy current. Match the weight to the depth you're fishing, not the fish you want.

    • Mercenary and Sumo (40g, 60g): bay structure, wrecks, kelp.
    • Ogre (80g, 200g, 300g): our longest-swimming jig, for wrecks and deep structure.
    • Javelin (100g, 200g): erratic glide, for wary fish.

The 40g–80g jigs come already rigged with assist hooks.

Live bait dies, drifts and needs rebaiting. A Submission jig is center-weighted and asymmetrical, so it flutters and slides on the fall like an injured baitfish, cast after cast. It doesn't quit wriggling, it stores in your tackle box, and it's through-wired to take hits from fish that fight back.

One customer fished a striper lake with live shad and cut anchovies. The bite was slow, so he dropped a 15g Mercenary and landed 4 stripers, versus 1 on live bait.
