Our tiny line up of 10g, 15g, and 20g jigs is perfect for dropping in your favorite lake or casting from shore. They're a fisherman favorite for kayak fishing in the bay or from the docks.
The 40g through 300g Middleweight Line Up is perfect for midrange fishing, including structure, kelp beds, and wrecks.
These 400g - 600g behemoths are designed to get to the strike zone first and to stand up to the toughest monsters. They may bend - they won't break.
During the 2020 lockdowns, I was grinding the bays of San Diego with a rod in one hand and way too much frustration in the other. I kept tying on slow pitch jigs that looked the part but couldn’t deliver — paint flaked, hooks bent, fish didn’t care. As a lifelong angler and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, I know success doesn’t come from luck. It comes from reps, precision, and gear you can trust.
So I decided to build my own. That’s how Submission Fishing Co. was born — in a garage, not a boardroom. Every jig we make is tested by me and our crew, built to handle everything from spotted bay bass to offshore bluefin. Just like on the mats, fishing is about putting in the work and seizing the moment.
We didn’t start in a boardroom. We started in our garage—frustrated by flimsy lures, raising a toddler, running a family business, and chasing our black belt in fishing. We built Submission Jigs because we were tired of “good enough.”
