How do you rig these jigs?
- Usually, tie the line on the eye side of the jig. We recommend if you’re going to tie directly to the jig, tie onto the split ring. If you’re going to use a clip or snap, tie onto the clip and attach it directly to the eyelet.
What size (grams) jig to I need for my target fish?
- A good rule of thumb is 1 gram per 1 foot of water. This is just a base line, and there are many other variables to consider, but this will get you started.
What kind of fish can I catch with these jigs?
- Any predatory fish, freshwater or saltwater. Inshore/bay/surf/freshwater examples are: sandbass, pompano, perch, redfish, largemouth bass, speckled trout. Nearshore/ offshore/ kelp beds: calico bass, amberjack, yellowtail, dorado. Offshore: rockfish, tuna, grouper.
What is slow pitch jigging?
- Slow pitch jigging is designed to maximize the action of the jigs: the flutter down mimicks the actions of injured prey and attracts more bites from a greater variety of fish than other more passive styles of fishing.
- It is also known for being effective in deeper or tougher conditions, and allows fishermen to experience the joy of the technique, making it a popular choice for those who appreciate the art and skill of fishing.
Can I cast and retrieve these jigs?
- Yes! Cast the jig and let it flutter down for a while before retrieving. Slowly pop it and bounce it through the water column as you reel towards you. Wind up and repeat.
Will these jigs last more than one use?
- Our jigs are very durable and won’t rust or fall apart after one use. They are lead material with a through wire from nose to tail which keeps them from breaking in a fight. The hooks are heavy-duty BKK hooks that won’t rust with normal use (though we recommend a good rinsing after a hard day at sea.)

Submission Jigs - Javelin - Middleweight Division
Are you a no-nonsense angler who’d rather feel the tug of a fish than fuss over fancy gear? Look no further! Our Javelin Jigs are built for anglers like you—those who know that a hard day’s work deserves a hard-hitting jig.
Why Choose The Javelin?
-
Sideways Glide: Unlike those dainty tear-drop jigs, The Javelin goes sideways and glides like a javelin once pitched. It’s the kind of jig that says, “I’ve got work to do.”
-
Flat and Convex: One side flaunts a distinct flat shape, while the other rocks a tear-drop convex shape. The result? A long horizontal slide when slow pitching or letting it fall. Precision matters, and The Javelin delivers.
-
Fish Magnet: Whether you’re after tuna, bonito, or the rugged rockfish and sand bass, these jigs get right to where your fish are waiting. No frills, just thrills.
Features
-
130g Jigs: Equipped with BKK assist hooks, UV tassels, and heavy-duty split rings. These are the workhorses of the water.
-
220g Jigs: These hefty jigs don’t come with hooks. Why? Because sometimes you need to customize your rig, just like a seasoned pro.
Colors
-
Orangesicle: Diagonal orange and glow-in-the-dark stripes on one side, orange foil on the other. It’s like a sunrise meeting a campfire. Available in 130g and 220g. GLOWS IN THE DARK.
-
Strawberry Tiger: Diagonal pink and glow-in-the-dark stripes, with pink foil on the flip side. Imagine cotton candy at twilight. Also in 130g and 220g. GLOWS IN THE DARK.
-
White Knight: Vertical silver and glow-in-the-dark stripes. It twinkles all the way down, just like stars on a clear night. Yep, 130g and 220g. GLOWS IN THE DARK.
-
Snow Cone: Diagonal blue and pink stripes meet a leopard foil. It’s like summer skies and wild adventures. You guessed it—130g and 220g. GLOWS IN THE DARK.

Submission Jigs - Ogre - Heavyweight Division
A Monster for the Monsters.
Ogre Heavyweight Division - 400g, 500g, and 600g
Why Choose The Ogre?
-
Swift and Deadly: These knife-style jigs are built for speed. Unlike traditional knives, the Ogre maintains a slow pitch descent, slicing through the depths like a blade. But here’s the twist—it’s center-balanced like a true slow pitch jig. Fish it horizontally on the retrieve, and watch it work its magic.
-
Erratic Dance: Once pitched, the Ogre rumbles and rolls through the water in an unpredictable fashion. Like a true ogre of legend, only the largest and mightiest fish can take this monster down. This is the perfect jig for huge tuna or any other large fish that needs a big bait.
Features and Colors
400g, 500g, and 600g.
*Bigger Jigs (400g - 600g) do not come with hooks so they can be truly customized for the fish of the day.
- The Rainbow Roll has rainbow foil and glow stripes on one side and rainbow foil on the other. On the fall it will flip between the two sides, creating exciting contrast to entice the fish. *GLOWS IN THE DARK*
- The Blueberry Tiger has blue foil and glow stripes on one side and blue foil on the other. On the fall it will flip between the two sides, creating exciting contrast to entice the fish. *GLOWS IN THE DARK
- The Grape Soda has purple and chrome striped foil on one side and purple foil on the other. A true San Diego classic.
Free shipping over $75!
