Fishing the year strong

I don't know about you all, but 2021 has been a weird year for fishing. One day the bite is hot, the next it's stone cold. Giant bluefin were in our waters for months longer than usual, but they were extremely picky about their bites. The bonita never really popped off like last year, but the rockfish and bay fish were dependable and delicious. 

No matter what the bite is like, a bad day out on my kayak in the bays or on a charter boat offshore is better than (almost) the best day on land.
