Why We Build Our Jigs the Way We Do
This all started because I (Muto) was tired of jigs that just didn’t cut it. I wasn’t just out there to enjoy the sunshine—I wanted the rod to bend. When I started fishing tournaments during the lockdowns, I realized my gear had to work as hard as I do.
So I went all in. Trial and error. Testing countless designs, weights, and rigs until I found the combinations that got bit. When I couldn’t find what I needed on the market, I made my own. Submission Fishing was born out of that relentless drive.
We partnered with a world-class maker of slow pitch jigs—someone who understands this technique and matches our obsession for quality and performance. The result? Jigs with life-like bait-fish action, quality construction, and irresistible colors that get bit over and over again.
The Current Situation
Right now, with the new tariff hikes, things are moving fast.
We’ve been absorbing rising costs quietly for a while now without raising prices more than a few pennies—but this latest wave of tariffs is too big to ignore.
